Capacity Assessment
In Alberta, a Capacity Assessment is a formal process used to determine an individual's ability to make decisions about their personal care, finances, or other important matters. It is typically conducted when there are concerns about a person's capacity to make informed decisions due to cognitive impairment.
Disability Tax Credit
The Disability Tax Credit (DTC) is a non-refundable tax credit offered by the Canadian government to assist individuals with disabilities or their supporting family members. The DTC is intended to provide financial support to help offset some of the costs associated with living with a disability. As appropriate, we can complete the medical portion of the DTC form.
PDD Applications
Pervasive Developmental Disorders (PDD) funding is a program offered by the Alberta government to support individuals with developmental disabilities. The program is designed to assist people with developmental disabilities to access necessary services and supports that promote their inclusion and participation in their communities. We can complete the required assessment to determine eligibility.
